Dakota Point, a beloved lake destination in the Black Hills of South Dakota, was a place where people gathered to enjoy music and cold beers by a bonfire. This community inspired the founders of Dakota Point Brewing to create a welcoming taproom in 2018, featuring stunning views and exceptional brews. Aly and Carson Quinn
These two local entrepreneurs are bringing fresh energy to your favorite brewery!
Carson brings with him over 10 years of professional brewing experience, earning multiple medals from prestigious competitions such as NABA, the US Beer Open, the World Beer Cup, and the Great American Beer Fest. Born and raised right here in Rapid City, SD, Carson returned in 2020 with a mission to open a brewery that embodies his passion for craft beer, community, and riding all the bikes.
Aly brings energy, creativity, and community spirit to everything she does at Dakota Point Brewing. She’s the brains behind many of our events, partnerships, and taproom experiences—always finding new ways to bring people together over great beer. When she’s not at the brewery, you’ll find her exploring the Black Hills, cycling, or building great community events at the Rapid City Public Library.
